Smart Med - This product is going to assure that the pacient will not take any medicine that he isn't supposed to.
One day after school, we are going home,
calmly walking down the street. Then we see a
lot of people surrounding an entrance of a
house. As we are engineers, we are moved by
curiosity so we dislocated ourselves to the
place to see better what was happening there.
Firemen doing CPR to an old lady, was what we
had found... After a few words with the locals
we discover that that person suffered from
Alzheimer, and forgot that she had already taken
her medication, and did it again. That was a
very powerful drug that make the old woman have
a cardiac arrest caused by an overdose. Then we
think "Why don't we build a device that could
prevent that? A device that makes easier and
safer the life who is taking daily medication?"
